Summary

very easy read。 extremely simplified from a historical point of view but very original view on the entire concept。

What a wonderfully amalgamated mess of Bolsheviks becoming Mensheviks and vice versa。 But finally and, might I add, disappointingly they ended up becoming humans。 Orwell's books seem to always end disappointingly - but that's probably because he's being honest/realistic and I don't want to read that all the time。 But I shall。 Bro also, years of being ushered away from pigsties as a child because they were sad and gross must have conditioned me quite deeply because I simply cannot look at pigs as What a wonderfully amalgamated mess of Bolsheviks becoming Mensheviks and vice versa。 But finally and, might I add, disappointingly they ended up becoming humans。 Orwell's books seem to always end disappointingly - but that's probably because he's being honest/realistic and I don't want to read that all the time。 But I shall。 Bro also, years of being ushered away from pigsties as a child because they were sad and gross must have conditioned me quite deeply because I simply cannot look at pigs as intelligent creatures。 What's up with that? 。。。more

Short and wonderfully done。 A really good book to talk about, the only reason I didn’t rate it 5/5 stars was probably because I like long stories where the plot is longer and this plot was short but yes, very strong。

George Orwell's masterpiece, which shows a clear vision of a poltics, takes place in the rebel group, which is very depressing to everyone who joins the rebel group, except the leader of the group。 Orwell narrated the plot with satire, and there are people in the audience who are all like character Benjamin's in this story。 this story makes us think and laugh, especially when the character Napoleon using the word snowball 。 Everyone must read this book to know about the society of rebellion peop George Orwell's masterpiece, which shows a clear vision of a poltics, takes place in the rebel group, which is very depressing to everyone who joins the rebel group, except the leader of the group。 Orwell narrated the plot with satire, and there are people in the audience who are all like character Benjamin's in this story。 this story makes us think and laugh, especially when the character Napoleon using the word snowball 。 Everyone must read this book to know about the society of rebellion people and their ignorance , they simply believed their leader 。 The main point of this book is to educate everyone。 Education is the only way to get rid of their ignorance and misery 。。。more

This is a must read book。 It teaches so many things about the human society。 “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others。” - my favorite quote。

The last line of this book is my favorite closing statement。 Seperti membaca kondisi yang sedang di negeri antah-berantah dan beberapa bagiannya mengingatkanku pada pelajaran sejarah di negeri antah-berantah。 Bakal ada saja kondisi dimana pihak-pihak tertentu memanfaatkan situasi untuk mencapai kepentingan mereka。 And those 'penggiringan opini' are sooo dangerous。 The last line of this book is my favorite closing statement。 Seperti membaca kondisi yang sedang di negeri antah-berantah dan beberapa bagiannya mengingatkanku pada pelajaran sejarah di negeri antah-berantah。 Bakal ada saja kondisi dimana pihak-pihak tertentu memanfaatkan situasi untuk mencapai kepentingan mereka。 And those 'penggiringan opini' are sooo dangerous。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 this book was literally so good and was a very interesting metaphor。 I think that it is devastating that some leaders of the world still think this way today and that not much has really changed。 In a way I feel like the world is still exactly the same because the people want to start revolutions and make a change, all while having no power, but as long as people are all different there will always be a way to compare and rank causing what happened in history and on Animal Farm。

One of the best book by George Orwell。 Perfect political satire for everyone。 Where animals fight to become independent, a revolution that succeeds, but after that politics comes and now it is not clear who is human and who is animal。

One of my all time favorites for sure。 This is my second read after 8 or 9 years。 A true master at his work, to be able to write such a short book, but so rich in background, context, metaphors, and satire。 Love it, love it, love it, love it!
